Start in Biratnagar, find the phone that sparked it, and follow the road through learning, client work, and a contribution to PHP. Every stop opens something real from my portfolio.

Biratnagar · The beginning
A tiny screen. A very big question.
I grew up in Biratnagar. Facebook on Opera Mini, on a Nokia E75, made me curious about what was behind a webpage. A .php URL flashed past. Around the same time, The Social Network made building something feel possible.
Curiosity can begin with something ordinary. Follow one question far enough to learn what to ask next.
The long road · 2015–2019
Trying to understand everything at once.
When I learned that PHP was written in C, I tried to start there. Pointers, memory, and the Zend Engine were a much larger world than I understood. I tried, failed, and came back. Those years were frustrating.
Reduce the problem until you can reproduce it. A small example gives you something concrete to inspect and test.
Kathmandu · 2020
A different route was still a route forward.
When everything became quiet in 2020, I changed direction. I left my job with no degree and no safety net. I learned PHP properly. This time I could build things, see progress, and keep moving.
Build one useful behavior, check it, and extend it. Changing your learning route is not the same as abandoning the goal.
Patan · A place in my world
Learning to look more closely.
Kathmandu and Patan are part of my life. This imagined square includes a Krishna Mandir-inspired stone landmark. It is a pause in the journey: a place to notice how many small, deliberate parts make something lasting.
This is an artistic interpretation, not a measured reconstruction. Krishna Mandir is a stone, Shikhara-style temple in Patan Durbar Square.
The workshop · Applications & client work
Code became somebody else’s working day.
Freelance work, a corporate role, and Laravel gave the learning somewhere to go. Pharmacy and warehouse systems, commerce, and integrations brought real workflows into the picture. I wanted the work to speak for itself.
Missing, null, and zero are different states. Decide what each means before updating data someone relies on.
The contribution garden · April 6, 2026
That kid actually did it.
My php-src pull request #21319 was merged. It promoted invalid-input warnings to ValueError in the SNMP extension, with test updates. A bounded change to the project. An enormous moment for me.
A useful contribution can be small. Reproduction, tests, review, and patience matter. I am still getting started.
